Behind every successful investigation is a team of dedicated volunteers who bring their unique skills together to protect children online. From investigators and intelligence analysts to developers, cybersecurity professionals, educators, writers, designers, and creative volunteers, each person plays a vital role in advancing our mission. The profiles below represent just a few of the many individuals whose expertise, compassion, and commitment make this work possible.
With more than 16 years of experience in graphic design and marketing, Amy brings a creative and strategic approach to visual communication. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and enjoys hiking and gaming in her free time. Amy is proud to support Innocent Lives Foundation and its mission to help keep children safe from predators.
Bjoern has spent the last 29 years architecting and executing growth-driven negotiations at the commercial level for SaaS companies, IT and Engineering outsourcing providers. He held multiple Sales leadership and Account Director positions including Head of Sales for multiple SaaS companies, growing those companies and accounts by 3-15x. During his time in those roles, he focused on multiple verticals including the Financial Industry and Consumer Product Goods. He developed partnerships between countless Start-Ups and global, multi-billion-dollar companies.
Cade is a lifelong volunteer, with years spent serving in soup kitchens and supporting disaster recovery operations. Lending his skills to the Innocent Lives Foundation felt like a natural next step as a way to put his technical background to work for a cause that matters.
Professionally, he’s a systems analyst in higher education IT. Outside of work, he’s usually gaming, or going down a rabbit hole on history or philosophy
Deanna is passionate about using her background in marketing and brand partnerships to support meaningful causes and create real-world impact. She enjoys building relationships, finding creative solutions, and helping organizations grow their visibility and community support.
She is grateful to contribute to the Innocent Lives Foundation’s mission of protecting children and creating safer online spaces. Outside of work and volunteering she loves to travel and explore new places.
Erin Maloney is the Director of Wellness for Innocent Lives Foundation. She specializes in trauma, addiction, secondary trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy as well as tools from other approaches to create a style to work with each person individually.
Erin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. She then earned her master’s degree in social work from Widener University in Chester, PA. Erin holds a license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and Phi Alpha, a Social Work Honor Society. Erin has worked in the behavioral and mental health field for almost 20 years. Her experience has included: case management, addiction counseling, behavioral specialty work, school based behavioral health services, and private practice. Erin has worked with a wide range of clients from young children to older adults with a variety of mental health needs.
Erin is dedicated to running the Wellness Program for Innocent Lives Foundation. She has a strong passion for the mission of the foundation to help protect innocent children.
Gabrielle Bremer is an independent web developer who helps businesses turn ideas into polished, high-performing websites. Specializing in WordPress, custom development, e-commerce, and branding, she enjoys solving complex technical challenges while making technology accessible for her clients.
Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys playing cribbage, reading, and traveling whenever she has the opportunity. Whether she’s discovering a new country or diving into a great book, she’s always looking for ways to learn, explore, and connect with the world around her. Her curiosity and love of learning extend beyond her work, inspiring her to seek out new experiences, cultures, and perspectives wherever she goes.
Jennifer is a volunteer with the Innocent Lives Foundation and has been actively serving in this role for the past two years. Born and Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she has held a long-standing passion for missing children awareness and anti–human trafficking efforts since childhood. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security with a focus in digital forensics, along with academic certificates in criminal justice and digital evidence discovery, combining her education with a strong commitment to supporting online child safety initiatives.
Kristy is a growth leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to scale organizations and drive meaningful impact. She builds and leads high-performing teams focused on operational excellence, strong outcomes, and delivering on mission-critical work. Her experience spans operational performance, customer success, and organizational leadership, grounded in a practical understanding of how to turn strategy into action.
She has held executive leadership roles across automotive tech, cybersecurity, cannabis compliance, fintech, and healthtech.
Lee Anderson is a cybersecurity educator and game designer focused on the human side of online safety. With more than 16 years in offensive security — specializing in social engineering and human behavior — he designs educational experiences that make digital safety intuitive rather than intimidating. Lee is the creator of Hack Attack: Defense, a tabletop game that teaches cybersecurity awareness for players of all ages. He has been a volunteer with ILF for seven years, working to help keep children safer online.
Nick is the author of the Leon “Catwalk” Caliber series of novels and comic books, and co-author of the Urban Samurai series. He is an experienced musician, having played all over the United States and Canada. He is an avid Internet safety advocate, and a volunteer with the Innocent Lives Foundation, helping to train parents, students and educators about staying safe online.
Nick celebrates over a decade in technical sales in the computer security industry. Prior to that, he worked as a security analyst for the U.S. government and a security engineer for several firms.
Coming from a law enforcement family, Nick is fascinated with catching bad guys and keeping kids safe online.
Ryan MacDougall is currently a Senior Social Engineer and Penetration Tester for Social-Engineer LLC. Ryan has been in information technology positions for over 20 years ranging from large financial institutions to global telecommunications companies, as well as industry recognized security and compliance firms. Ryan is a Black Hat conference trainer as well as a trainer for Social-Engineer LLC independant offerings. Ryan lends his experience of infrastructure support, design and related skills to assist the Innocent Lives Foundation in accomplishing tasks necessary to help vulnerable kids in their time of need.
Shane leads the ILF with more than 25 years of experience in the tech industry, including more than a decade of experience in C-level roles. He led enterprise-wide initiatives within project management, customer relationship management and acquisition, policies and procedures, process improvement, and infrastructure. Shane is also an accomplished public speaker and trainer focused on change management, professionalism, social engineering, and corporate security. In the past, he volunteered for the Autism Hope Alliance and currently donates his time to businesses and non-profits as a trusted advisor.
Shelby Dacko is a Human Risk Analyst with Social‐Engineer, LLC. She defines social engineering as the act of using what you know about human behaviors to bring about your desired outcome.
Shelby’s specialties include vishing, OSINT work, and educational material production. She also enjoys public speaking and teaching, studying psychology, as well as painting. Additionally, in her spare time, Shelby volunteers for the Innocent Lives Foundation. She is also a certified Social Engineering Pentest Professional (SEPP), has her bachelor’s degree in TESOL, and is a trained ASL Interpreter.

Stacia D. Kelly is a Holistic Health Advisor in Northern VA. Stacia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing and Editing, and a PhD in Holistic Health.
Many of the people who make our mission possible will never have their names or faces displayed on this page, and that’s by design.
Our anonymous volunteers dedicate thousands of hours to identifying online child predators, conducting research, analyzing digital evidence, developing technology, supporting operations, and educating families. To protect both their safety and the integrity of our investigations, many serve behind the scenes without public recognition.
Their work is extraordinary, and it is essential. Every case we submit to law enforcement, every family we educate, and every child we help protect is possible because of the expertise, dedication, and compassion of these volunteers. While they may remain anonymous, their impact is immeasurable.
Board of Directors
Chris possesses over 18 years of experience as a practitioner and researcher in the security field. He is the author of 5 books and 3 different training courses taught around the globe. Chris is an Adjunct Professor of Social Engineering for the University of Arizona’s NSA-designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO) and sits on The Information Technology Systems Technical Advisory Committee of Idaho State University. He has trained and taught various branches of the US Government in the art and science of social engineering, including the FBI, SOCOM, and others. Chris has been invited to the Pentagon to debrief 30+ general officers and government officials on social engineering and its effect on the United States.
Chris established the world’s first social engineering penetration testing framework at www.social-engineer.org, providing an invaluable repository of information for security professionals and enthusiasts. That site grew into a dynamic web resource including a podcast and newsletter, which have become staples in the security industry and are referenced by large organizations around the world.
Chris specializes in understanding how malicious attackers exploit human communication and trust to obtain access to information and resources through manipulation and deceit. His goal is to secure companies by educating them on the methods used by attackers, identifying vulnerabilities, and mitigating issues through appropriate levels of awareness and security. Douglas is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in business and technology leadership roles within Fortune 100 technology, professional services, and aerospace-defense companies. He operates at the most senior levels of organizations and has a proven ability to deliver business impact at scale. He is an experienced P&L and CIO leader, with strong expertise in digital transformations, technology strategy and execution, business value creation, and organization risk management.
He has profit and loss (P&L) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) experience in the manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and services industries. He led organizations of 2,000+ people, was responsible for $500M technology budgets, and managed a $200M annual P&L business. Douglas is sought after for his ability to develop market opportunities, identify and win new business, and deliver operational excellence.
At Deloitte, Douglas is responsible for leading and implementing the technology strategy for the firm’s business functions. He oversees a technology portfolio consisting of digital, mobile, data sciences, AI, cloud computing, and cyber security services. He served as the Global Technology leader for the firm’s SAP financial transformation and is serving in the same role for the global talent business transformation.
Douglas is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and accomplishes this through various coaching engagements. He has a strong ability to create inspiring visions and foster diverse and inclusive organizational cultures. He is a courageous leader who “leads from the front” to remove systemic organization biases and was recently appointed by the Deloitte CEO to the firm’s Black Action Council to advance the careers of black professionals.
Before joining Deloitte, he held various leadership roles at the Lockheed Martin Corporation including CIO for the Global Training and Logistics business, VP and P&L leader for the healthcare IT business, and chaired the corporation’s Technology Governance Board.
He began his professional career at the IBM Corporation and operated in several leadership positions. In his final role, he was the IBM Global Solution Leader responsible for network and product development teams in Latin America, Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific, and Canada.
Douglas received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the University of South Florida. He is a Deloitte CIO Fellow and completed executive leadership development at Georgia Tech, and the Lockheed Martin Center for Leadership Excellence. He is the former board chairman of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum and a member of the Year-Up Technology Advisory Committee. He recently received his Master Practitioner Energy Leadership Index and Certified Professional Coaching international certifications.
Joy Beland serves as the Vice President of Partner Strategy and Cybersecurity Education at Summit 7, leveraging her knowledge of the NIST 800-171 Framework and CMMC program as it applies to the defense industrial base as well as her cybersecurity training acumen and 28 years of IT and SMB relationships to build meaningful and innovative partnerships.
Joy also currently serves as Board Vice President for MSPs for the Protection of Critical Infrastructure, helping to guide the IT and Security provider industry in navigating regulations applicable to MSPs who serve the defense industrial base.
Before joining Summit 7, Joy served as Senior Cybersecurity Consultant and Professional Instructor at Edwards Performance Solutions, actively participating in CMMC cybersecurity readiness assessments while overseeing the curriculum development and live-instructor training for the Cyber-AB Approved CCP and CCA certification courses. Joy also served as Senior Manager, Cybersecurity for ConnectWise, launching the first ever Cybersecurity Fundamentals boot camp and training 3,000 MSPs worldwide. Joy served as CEO of her own MSP practice in the greater Los Angeles area for 21 years, serving hundreds of small and medium businesses as their trusted technology and cybersecurity advisor.
Joy holds the CMMC CCP, CCA, and Provisional Instructor certifications, the CISM certification from ISACA, the SSAP certification from SANS, and Carnegie Mellon SEI certificates for Insider Threat Program Manager as well as Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor and is currently studying for the CISA certification from ISACA. Her personal mission is to protect organizations from cybercrime, whether caused by external or internal threat actors.
May Brooks-Kempler began her tech journey in the 1990s, exploring game “cheats” and “hacks” on IRC chats. This sparked a cyber career spanning from Penetration Testing to Security Architect, GRC consultant and eventually a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Today, she channels her extensive experience into strategic consulting, actively developing and promoting innovative cybersecurity initiatives, guiding startups, and mentoring up-and-coming professionals in the field, leveraging her deep pedagogical knowledge, technical skills, and CISO perspective.
May’s commitment to advancing the profession is evident through her role as a member of the ISC2 Board of Directors as well as a CISSP authorized instructor and co-author.
As a mother of three, her biggest ambition is to make the online world a safer place. Through her podcasts and Facebook community, she provides ongoing security tips and advice to tens of thousands of people. Her online courses and best selling book, “Scams, Hacking, and cybersecurity – The Ultimate Guide to Online Safety and Privacy,” aims to empower an even broader audience.
Attorney Timothy J. Maloney founded Maloney Law, P.C. on December 1, 2017. Maloney Law P.C. assists clients in all aspects of Corporate and Business Law, Business Transactions, Contracts and Agreements, and Real Estate.
Before starting his firm Tim was a Partner in the Business & Finance Department at Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald, LLP, and was associated with firms in New York City and Washington DC.
Tim has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and in the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal’s 20 under 40 list.

Board Member Emeritus
Neil Fallon is the lyricist, singer, and rhythm guitar player of the rock band Clutch. Since forming in 1991, Clutch has released 11 full length records and has performed numerous times in North America, Europe, South America, Australia, and Japan.
In 2009, Neil, along with his bandmates and manager, created Weathermaker Music, a completely independent record label. To date, Weathermaker Music has had 58 world wide releases. The most recent release, “Psychic Warfare,” reached #11 on the Billboard Top 100 and #1 on Hard Rock & Rock Billboard chart.
Neil graduated from the University of Maryland in 1993 with a B.A. in English and is a member of the international English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta.
AJ Cook is a Canadian born actress best known for her role as Supervisory Special Agent Jennifer “JJ” Jareau in the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds. She is a dedicated mother and wife with strong beliefs in her family. It is these very strong beliefs that lead her to take an active role as an Ambassador for the Innocent Lives Foundation.
AJ, when asked why she wanted to help, said, “As a mother, I was devastated to find out the number of children victimized each year. Simply put, I could not walk away from the crucial work that ILF is doing. My heart wouldn’t let me.”
Besides being a busy actress, mother of two amazing sons and wife to an active and positive husband, she is helping lead the way to saving children from the atrocities of exploitation.

Just a few of the organizations she’s spoken for are the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Athletes & Entertainers for Kids, AFLAC, PNC Bank, Lady Remington, Great Northeast Women’s Conference, LA Times Women’s Conference, USC, the commencement address at LA Police Academy Graduation and for UPS on behalf Haven House, a battered Woman’s shelter where she was on the Board of Directors for years, creating PSA’s with Women in Film and raising funds since 1991.

Dr. Kathie Mathis has over 35 years of administrative and mental health experience. She has been responsible for administration, board development, staff development, public relations, funding development, program development, and volunteer development. She is also an international motivational speaker and trainer. During her career, Kathie has developed and introduced national models in mentoring, abuse prevention, and school-based stop-bullying programs. She also authored books and wrote monthly columns for magazines and newspapers. Dr. Mathis is a state, national, and international advocate meeting with legislators in Washington D.C., and California. She has testified before the California State Senate/Assembly and met with California’s judicial Council, promoting legislation and safety measures for victims of abuse. Dr. Mathis has received a great deal of awards, including: Woman of the year 2005 and 2009/2010, Professional Woman’s Who’s Who; a special award from President Bush for her work in domestic violence, and Congress and Senate acknowledgments. Dr. Mathis has assisted in over 500 court cases with expert testimony.
During her career, Kathie has developed and introduced national models in mentoring, abuse prevention and school-based stop-bullying programs. She also authored books, wrote monthly columns for magazines and newspapers. She trains in Batterers Facilitation which meets the California LA County Probation Department Standards and created a 52 week workbook curriculum for facilitators which meets probation standards. She has trained Probation and Parole staff around the country and has helped update and revise the Los Angeles County Standards. She also created and certifies mental health professional in knowing a personality disorder through the Sociopathic Type Facilitator Training, which is being presented nationally. She is an Emotional Addiction Specialist and writes articles for magazines, newspapers on her book entitled “Emotional Addiction – A Bitter Sweet Truth.” Mathis is a keynote speaker at convention, symposiums and conferences. She is only one of three trainers and specialists in the the area’s of trauma, violence/abuse, victimology, understanding and identifying predators, human trafficking intervention and prevention, laughter and provides expert testimony in over 500 legal cases across the United States. Kathie testified as expert witness in a Hague Trail which only those who train trainers get asked to do.
Dr. Mathis is certified in drug/alcohol, sex addiction, sex offender, human trafficking, emotional addiction, laughter and happiness therapy, parenting, child abuse intervention/prevention, batterers intervention/prevention, domestic violence victims intervention/advocacy, anger management, grief and loss and many more mental health focuses. She also participated on the taskforce reforming the California Dept. of Parole/Rehabilitation Adult Outpatient Mental Health Programs and has presented in 2010 and 2012 at the American Probation and Parole Association Conference. Her keynote speaking requests have taken her to international locations, promoting abuse prevention and intervention. She has appeared on radio and television shows and has been published in many current magazines and newspapers.
Dr. Mathis has written several California laws and got them passed as well as took the lead on Prop 46, which provided $2.1 billion in new funding for affordable housing projects including $195 million in grants for capital development projects for emergency shelters and transitional housing. She helped with SB734 which passed and currently has a legislative proposal being considered on public safety.
Stephanie takes great pride in coaching executives, sales teams, TEDx speakers, Women in leadership and experts of all kinds, to master self-leadership, communication and storytelling. She is also a proud member of the board of directors of The Alzheimer’s Association in Orange County, The Innocent Lives Foundation, and the Learning Chair for the EOA (Entrepreneurs Organization Accelerator)Board. As well as an active member of WIB (Women in Bio).
